The Cell

All living things are made of cells.

The cell is the basic unit of an organism. There are two types of cells, prokaryote and eukaryote.

Prokaryote cells are cells without membrane bound structures, or organelles, for example bacteria. All other cells are eukaryote. Eukaryote cells are cells with membrane bound structures, or organelles, example, plant and animal cell. To learn more about cells, click on this link.
